How the island actually works.
There is no bridge to Fisher Island. Every vehicle that reaches it, a moving truck included, crosses on the island’s ferry, and the ferry runs on its own timetable, not on yours.
Not every truck qualifies for the vehicle barge. Size and weight decide what rolls on, which can mean staging a large move across more than one crossing. That sequencing gets settled before the date is set, not at the ramp.
Vendor crews don’t simply arrive. The island runs its own security and resident-approval process, and crew registration happens ahead of the move. It is the same roster discipline we run in every tower, with the island’s own paperwork on top.
Rules like these change. We confirm the current ferry and access requirements with the island’s operations before your date is fixed, so the plan is built on what’s true the week of your move.

The window

The truck is staged for its barge slot and packed in crossing order, so the first trip carries what the day needs first.
On-island protection
Floor runs, corner guards, and lobby protection go in to your building’s written specification, photographed before and after. The same standard we run on the mainland.

Ferry windows and closing dates don’t always land on the same week. Vaulted storage is the buffer: your belongings are sealed at your residence, itemized on an inventory you sign, and held until the island and the calendar agree.
